How we keep ISO a serious marketplace: keep the deal on ISO, treat people well, and be honest about what you have and what you will pay. This page is the readable version of our rules. The legal version lives in the .
ISO is built so serious searches stay on-platform: proof photos, profiles, and the conversation live in one thread. That is the main protection we can offer today.
Checkout is not live yet. Accepting an offer records the match. ISO does not charge a card, hold funds, or run a purchase-protection claim today. Until that ships, do not send money off ISO, and treat every deal as a peer-to-peer handoff you have to verify yourself.
Stay on ISO. Proof, price, and the conversation belong in the thread. If someone asks you to pay elsewhere or move to another app, that is a red flag — report it.
When checkout is live, the intended buyer protection is simple: if the piece is not as described in the offer, report it in the thread and to iso.us.admin@gmail.com promptly. ISO may ask for photos, tracking, or a return shipment, and may refund at our discretion. A carrier scan to the address you gave is not, by itself, proof the item was as described — but it is proof of delivery to that address. You are responsible for a correct, secure shipping address.
Posting a search is free. When a sale closes through ISO, the buyer pays 7% on top of the agreed item price. The seller keeps the full offer. Shipping and tax, when they apply, sit outside that 7%.
Example: a $1,000 agreed price → $70 buyer fee → buyer pays $1,070. The seller receives $1,000. (plus any shipping you two agreed).
That fee is collected only when ISO checkout is live. Steering a deal off ISO to “avoid the fee” is still a Code of Conduct violation now — it is how people get scammed.
The point of ISO is a welcoming, high-signal room for people who actually want the piece and people who actually have it. Using the Service means you agree to this:
ISO may warn, limit, suspend, or ban accounts that break this Code or the Terms.
When a seller accepts an offer, and when a buyer accepts that offer in My ISO, both sides are committing to complete that deal at the agreed price — not shopping the same piece on five other apps as a stall.
Until checkout is live, ISO does not auto-charge a card. The commitment is still real: if you accept, follow through in the thread or say so immediately. Ghosting after an accept is how people get restricted.
Sellers set their prices. Photos can look different on your screen than in hand. Availability can change without notice — if the piece is gone, say so in the thread instead of going quiet.
During beta, shipping is agreed in the thread. There is no automatic cancel-and-refund clock because ISO is not holding the money. Still: ship when you said you would, add tracking in the conversation, and do not ask the buyer to pay before they have seen proof of the actual item.
When checkout is live, the standard will be: buyer covers shipping unless stated otherwise; seller ships within seven calendar days of payment with tracking; delivery to the address on the order completes the handoff.
Returns are not a default. All sales are final except where the seller agrees, the law requires it, or — once checkout is live — ISO purchase protection covers a not-as-described item.
We rely on what the community can see. Before you send money or an item, open the profile and actually look:
Trust scores and badges are tools, not a warranty that the piece is authentic or that the person will follow through. If a pattern of complaints shows up, we may freeze the account.
Use the in-app report / flag controls on a listing, profile, or thread when you can. For harassment, fakes, off-platform pressure, or anything that needs a human: email iso.us.admin@gmail.com.
